TEEN ARTISTS ON THE ISSUES: Documentary Bootcamp Short Film Screening + Q&A
Presented by Arlington Center for the Arts | Wednesday, May 18 | 7-9 pm | Regent Theatre
Arlington Center for the Arts (ACA) presents a free, public screening of short films created by participants in the “Teen Artists on the Issues: Documentary Bootcamp” program. Teens from Arlington and our surrounding communities were selected to participate in this year’s program to learn and develop work in documentary filmmaking. Facilitated by documentary filmmaker, educator, and activist Michael Sheridan, this action-oriented program provided our participating teens with new tools, inspiration, peer collaboration, mentorship, and space to create and share work with the community at large. This immersive learning experience equipped participating teens with the technical skills and the professional support to advocate and make an impact through the arts.
This program is made possible by generous grants from the Robert and Toni Bader Charitable Foundation and the Arlington Cultural Council (ACAC Grants Committee), as well as the technical expertise and support from our neighbors at ACMi.
