We love the character of Arlington, which is defined by its small businesses and restaurants, and residents with a passion for supporting local entrepreneurs. However, we are in danger of losing one unique local business, Cambridge Typewriter, located just down the street from the gallery. Owner Tom Furrier, one of the few remaining master typewriter repairmen, is looking for a successor to take over his long-standing typewriter repair and sales shop. Though Furrier's business has increased with people's interest in analog technology, he is retiring and would like to sell his business to someone who will continue his legacy.
